Resolve Behavioral Health Services

About Me

Ayana Button, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker serving clients through Resolve Behavioral Health Services located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to starting in the therapy world, I was a lead teacher in the very busy and fun chaos of a preschool classroom for four years. I also previously worked with young children and pre-teens in a shelter for children in foster care.

I have a passion for supporting children, teens, and their families. I focus primarily on supporting young children as they navigate their emotions, develop social skills, and adjust to life changes. I also enjoy working with teens and young adults as they navigate through life’s changes. Whether a person is experiencing anxiety, having difficulty adjusting to school or family changes, facing behavioral challenges, or healing from trauma, I am committed to supporting each client and family through their unique journey.
I strive to create a warm, joyful, and safe space where everyone can feel free to express themselves openly and build emotional resilience. I work closely with caregivers to support lasting change and strengthen family relationships. I aim to help families develop the tools they need to communicate, connect, and feel more confident in their everyday lives.

Treatment Approach

I use a variety of approaches to address my clients unique needs. If you are looking for something specific, I am trained in and offer the following treatment modalities:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (for accepting difficult feelings while moving towards the things you value)
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (for addressing and healing from trauma)
  • Theraplay (for healing early developmental traumas and parent-child relationships)
  • Circle of Security (for parents building strong attachment-based relationships with their infants and young children)
  • Attachment-Based Family Therapy (for healing teen-parent relationships)
  • Parent Management Training (for responding to childhood behavioral concerns)

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.”
